New timer IC TS3001 with single resistor introduced by Touchstone Semiconductor
Touchstone Semiconductor has released a low power timer "TS3001" from the family of NanoWatt analog integrated circuits portfolio.
Touchstone claims that the TS3001 timer IC is simple to program, and accurate. The timer uses 1µA supply current at 25kHz. The frequency is set with a single resistor and the frequency out period drift is 0.021%/°C. The timer's supply voltage range is 0.9V to 1.8V while the PWMout duty cycle ranges from 12% to 90%.
These timers find their applications in portable and battery-operated equipment that require a timing element that includes industrial control applications.
The timer is available in the TDFN-8 package. The TS3001 is in stock and ready to ship. The price starts at $1.14 each in 1,000 piece quantities.
