SMD remote control receivers from Vishay with a height of 0.8 mm

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. has released TSOP57x series of remote control receivers. These IR receivers have a height of 0.8 mm, angle of sensitivity of 150 deg and receiving distance of 40 meters.

The TSOP57x family includes the TSOP572, TSOP573, TSOP574, and TSOP575 devices.

These IR receivers find their applications in flat panel LCD, plasma TV displays, set-top boxes, stereo systems, and in-room air-conditioners.

The TSOP57x IR receivers have no lens but provide on-axis sensitivity.

The receivers feature intelligent automatic gain control (AGC) providing noise suppression in versions that include AGC2, -3, -4 and -5. They have peak sensitivity of 940 nm, and are available in modulation frequencies of 36 kHz, 38 kHz, 40 kHz, and 56 kHz.

The devices feature an environmentally friendly "green" construction compliant to RoHS directive 2011/65/EU and in accordance to WEEE 2002/96/EC.

Samples and production quantities of the TSOP572, TSOP573, TSOP574, and TSOP575 are now available. It takes a lead time of six to eight weeks for larger orders.
