R&S scope supported with MSO option

Rohde & Schwarz has made available MSO functionality option in its oscilloscopes to simultaneously observe both the analog signal at the A/D converter input and the digital signals at the output. The MSO option for the R&S RTO oscilloscope provides 16 digital logic channels while fully utilizing the benefits of the base unit for mixed signal analysis.

This oscilloscope now features 16 digital logic channels with 400 MHz input frequency. Equipped with the MSO option, the R&S RTO allows time correlation between the instrument's analog and digital sections.

R&S RTO with MSO functionality offers a sampling rate of 5 Gsample/s over the entire 200 Msample memory depths. A maximum time resolution of 200 ps is available in this scope.

The option comes with hardware-based acquisition, trigger and processing units. Even when the digital channels are on, high acquisition rates of over 200,000 waveforms/second can be achieved.
