Microcontroller with embedded 12-bit A/D converter and 8-bit PWM target home appliances

Holtek has released its new Enhanced A/D type MCU, the HT46R0664, including an embedded 12-bit A/D converter and 8-bit PWM, which reduces the need for peripheral components, PCB areas and costs.

Key features of HT46R0664 include:
Operating temperature range from -40~85°C in its industrial quality specifications
Operating voltage of 2.2~5.5V
Internal R-type LCD driver, Multi-function I/O pins,
Internal RC oscillator,
Power-down and wake-up functions,
High and low dual frequency dynamically switchable system clock operation as well as RTC function

The HT46R0664 will be used in the small household appliance application area, for products such as electric hobs, LCD and food processors, but market attention is presently focusing on devices with superior cost/function ratios in this regard the device is well equipped to provide an excellent MCU solution to meet the needs of the modern household appliance application area, says Holtek.

The HT46R0664 device has a full array of protection features including high noise immunity, watchdog timer and low voltage reset to provide maximum protection against erroneous operation.
