IEEE 802.3af/at compliance, PoE enabled panel PCs from IEI
IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), has introduced two Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled panel PCs, the AFL-057A-Z510/Z530 featuring an Intel Atom Z510P/Z530P processor with speed up to 1.6 GHz and the ACT-457A-1250 is an RISC-based EM/Mifare access control terminal and these two panel PCs are IEEE 802.3af/at compliant. The IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standard ensures that 12.95W/25W of DC power is provided to each connected device. PoE Technology safely transfers electrical power and data to remote devices over a standard Category 5e cable in an Ethernet network.
The ACT-457A-1250 featuring a 5.7 inch TFT color touchscreen panel with full display interface and integrated with an RMI Alchemy AU1250 500MHz media processor that provides hardware decoding for MPE1/2/4, DivX and WMV9, the built-in 2W speakers and microphone allow for bi-directional voice messaging, while a 300K pixel web-camera enables real-time imaging for video capture or facial identification.
The fanless All-in-One AFL-057A-Z510/Z530 panel PC has a 5.7-inch VGA TFT touch panel LCD with LED backlight. The AFL-057A-Z510/Z530 can be installed with minimal hassle anywhere an RJ-45 Ethernet jack is present including industrial, retail and home environments.
