Poly-phase power metering ICs from IDT offer wide dynamic range

Integrated Device Technology, Inc. has released new family of poly-phase power metering ICs, the 90E32 and 90E36 feature wide dynamic range of 5000:1 (90E32) and 6000:1 (90E36), and the low temperature coefficient with proprietary temperature compensation technology. IDT claims this is the industry's best dynamic range and temp. coeffcient performance. The devices are fully compliant with international (IEC, ANSI) and Chinese (GB, DL) standards, and can be used for both three-phase four-wire (3P4W) and three-phase three-wire (3P3W) active and reactive energy meters.

The IDT 90E36 features an on-chip Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) analysis engine with Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) detection, raw analog to digital converter (ADC) data access via a direct memory access (DMA) port and other versatile parameter measurement functions.
