IEI embedded boards to support Intel BLDK for a fast OS booting

IEI Technology Corp. has announced support for the Intel Boot Loader Development Kit (Intel BLDK) in its product line-up. The Intel BLDK facilitates IEI products to boot up to an operating system within one second and supports comprehensive operating systems such as Windows CE, MeeGo, Linux, Moblin, Fedora and so forth, by bypassing the BIOS setting.

The IEI products with Intel BLDK support are available on the solutions with Intel Atom processor Z530P or Z510P, the dual-core Intel Atom processor D525, and the Intel Atom processor E6xx series.
IEI products with the Intel Atom processor Z530P or Z510P include the 3.5" embedded computer board, the WAFER-US15WP and WAFER-US15WP2, and Q7 CPU module, the iQ7-US15W.
