Axiomtek launches wide-temp Intel Atom N450/D510 based embedded computer
Axiomtek has launched a new low-power embedded computer, eBOX620-800-FL, offering fanless cooling, wide operating temperature and optimized expandability. The embedded box computer utilizes the low power single-core Intel Atom processor N450 1.66GHz and the dual-cores Intel Atom processor D510 1.66GHz with Intel ICH8M I/O controller hub. One 200-pin DDR2 SODIMM socket supports up to 2GB system memory. It offers -10°C to +55°C wide temperature range. I/O connectivity includes PCI Express mini card slot, audio, VGA, two LANs, four USB, one SATA, and three COM ports. The rugged eBOX620-800-FL is ideal for applications requiring a power-optimized and rich-graphics platform, such as digital signage, gaming, industrial control automation, POS, kiosk, and medical equipment applications.

The eBOX620-800-FL has storage interfaces including a 2.5" SATA hard disk drive bay and a front-accessible CompactFlash slot. For custom system configurations, the compact-size embedded system has one PCI Express mini card slot. Additionally, the eBOX620-800-FL supports various embedded operating systems including Windows CE, Windows XP Embedded (XPE), and Linux. For flexible installation, this rugged box computer can be wall-mounted or stand-mounted. It has a built-in Watchdog Timer to reset the system after a crash or system error.
