High side current monitors for load current sensing

Diodes Incorporated has released of the ZXCT11xx series of low power high-side current monitors.

The key features of ZXCT11xx are:

Consume operating current of low 3µA
Offers common-mode voltage range, of 2.5V to 36V
Operate in extended -40ºC to 125ºC temperature range to make them suitable from automotive and industrial apps.
Operates from a single external gain-setting resistor in addition to a low value sense resistor.
Sensing current on the high-side also avoids any ground plane disruption.
Package: SOT23. Offering a range of pin-outs to help optimize board layouts, the ZXCT1107 and ZXCT1109: 3-pin SOT23 and ZXCT1110: 5-pin SOT23

Applications: Suggested for measurement of load current in motor drive, overload protection and safety applications such as computer power adapters, appliance motor controls, and power automotive safety and convenience features.
