New portfolio of 14-bit ADC IP-cores from Cosmic Circuits

Bangalore, India based semiconductor IP vendor Cosmic Circuits has announced its new portfolio of 14-bit Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) for measuring and communication applications. These include a 50MSPS Analog to Digital Converter for use in radar and communication applications. The ADC achieves 71.5dB signal-to-noise (SNR) ratio and supports under-sampling with minimal loss in SNR. The low-speed ADC operates at 1-2MSPS and achieves < +/- 7 LSBs of absolute error and is ideally suited for measurement applications. These silicon-proven IP cores are available in the 130nm process node.

The Director of IP of Cosmic Circuits Sundararajan Krishnan commented that "As serious players in the data-converter IP market, we are constantly adding to our converter portfolio. These high-resolution converters are an important milestone for us as we seek to address customer needs across applications and market segments."
