Test signals for EMC compliance testing of digital TV receivers

Rohde & Schwarz launches a new transport stream library with test signals for EMC compliance testing of TV receivers. It is supported by the R&S SFU, R&S SFE and R&S SFE100 TV signal generators.

Supporting TV standards like DVB-S2 and DVB-T2. All transport streams in the R&S SFU-K228 option are in the TRP format. The R&S SFU-K228 option requires the R&S SFx-K22 TRP player option.

The library includes streams for the MPEG-2 and H.264 video encoding standards, with different formats and frame rates for DVB and ATSC. All streams contain the moving colorbar video test pattern and a 1 kHz sine wave tone or no audio (silence). They are suitable to test the compliance of TV receivers with CISPR 20 (EN 55020) and CISPR 13 (EN 55013
