Fanless Intel Core2 Duo based industrial computer board from Axiomtek

Axiomtek has released the IPC914-211-FL fanless barebone system with four expansion slots, built with the Intel GM45+ICH9M chipset, supports socket P Intel Core2 Duo and Celeron M processors up to 2.53 GHz with a 667/800/1066 MHz FSB. This system provides good expansion capability with four PCI slots or two PCI plus one PCIe x16 and PCIe x1. This system uses a fanless design and thermal solution to maintain system temperature. The IPC914-211-FL is targets industrial automation, kiosk, POI, digital signage, gaming, DVR and much more.

"Built on Intel GM45 Express chipset, Axiomteks's industrial-grade IPC914-211-FL supports a socket P Intel Core2 Duo processor up to 2.53 GHz with two DDR3 8 GB system memory. Through the integrated Mobile Intel GMA 4500MHD, the IPC914-211-FL offers excellent 3D graphics and supports numerous display options including VGA, LVDS and DVI. To fulfill different application needs, this fanless embedded computer comes with complete expandability, especially PCI and PCIe slots. The IPC914-211-FL supports a 10 to 30 voltage wide-range DC power input. Even more, it adopts industry-grade Phoenix type or DC-jack power connector plug," said Eric Chiang, Product Manager of Applied Computing & Network Device Business Unit at Axiomtek.

The IPC914-211-FL features rich I/O connections on one side of the housing, including two Gigabit Ethernet ports, six USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports (3 x RS-232 and 1 x RS-232-422-485), a VGA port, and a remote switch connector. This system has storage interfaces such as one 2.5" SATA HDD drive bay and a CompactFlash socket. This sysyem supports Windows Vista, Windows CE, Windows XP embedded, and Linux.

Availability: IPC914-211-FL will be available around the end of October, 2010.
