New PCI-104 board with CAN bus interface, 24 channel digital I/O and SRAM module from Acrosser
Acrosser Technology has introduced the AR-B104D PCI-104 board with a CAN bus interface, 24 channel digital I/O and SRAM module. The 24 channels are divided into 12 general purposed input channels with pulse counter alternative function and 12 general purposed output channels with pulse generator alternative function. This board provides features required in automation and in-vehicle applications.
The CAN bus controller on AR-B104D supports 2.0A and 2.0B protocol . This PCI-104 board provides 12 channel optical isolated digital inputs that can also serve as counter input and 12 channel 500 mA current sink digital outputs that can operate as an automatic pulse generator as well as general purpose outputs. The SRAM disk enables communication up to1Mbps baud rate with simple wiring. The CAN controller handles error detection and re-transmission which simplified the programming. This board also provides support for Linux and Windows 2000, XP Software Development Kit (SDK). AR-B104D provides a 512K bytes battery backed up SRAM memory that enables fast access and unlimited write cycles characteristics. Therefore it can operate as solid state disk as well as general purpose memory.
Package:
The free software development kit comes with the AR-B104D package and includes device drivers, API, sample code, demo program and software programming guide.
