Family of RF test cables from Aeroflex / Inmet

Aeroflex / Inmet has unveiled the iCALIBER family of RF test cables. iCALIBER brand cables eliminates crushing, flexure and kinking through the use of a robust spiraled stainless steel casing.

The first series, the iCAL-18-SM, has a frequency range of 18 GHz with 50 Ohms impedance and operates at -55 Deg C to +105 Deg C. These cable assemblies feature small bend radius (4.0 inches) and are available in 2-, 3- and 4-foot lengths provides improved phase stability in the test lab or in the field.

"We are very excited to bring this product to market," said Norm Hansen, Vice-President Sales and Marketing. "Customers needed an economy grade test cable with a low failure rate and at an affordable price. Aeroflex / Inmet has met that request with the iCALIBER spiraled stainless casing design."

"iCALIBER cables can also be returned for reconstruction," continued Hansen. "Reconstructed iCALIBER cables will contain new cables and connectors and reuse the spiral casing. This service provides a unique and economic solution for our high use partners to craft an automatic replenishment program for test cables that reach end of life."
