New software development tool from TI to generate prototype software for TI DSPs

Texas Instruments has released the C6EZFlo graphical software development tool for TI based DSP application developers. This tool generates prototype software for TI DSP helping design engineers and programmers to speed up the development process without learning new programming languages or specific DSP architecture.

Developers can leverage C6EZFlo with TI's C6000 DSP devices, such as C674x DSPs, as well as DSP-based DaVinci video processors, including DM643x and DM648


The key features of the C6EZFlo software development tool include:
1. Provides drag-and-drop functionality allowing developers to connect blocks with peripherals on the DSP and optimize processing.
2. Generates clean structured code based on the block diagram.
3. Produces system signal flow block diagram that can be reused when migrating to other TI DSPs thus enabling scalability across TI DSP products
