6A DC/DC uModule regulator from Linear Tech for ATCA and medical systems
Linear Technology has released the LTM4618, a 6A DC/DC uModule Regulator, which includes the inductor, MOSFETs, DC/DC regulator, input and output bypass capacitors and supporting circuitry.
The key features of LTM4618 include:
1. Consists of output voltage tracking for systems that need to sequence multiple rails for proper power up and down, and 250kHz to 780kHz fixed frequency PLL capability for noise-sensitive applications that require the switching frequency of the regulator to be a set value.
2. The LTM4618 includes safety features such as output overvoltage and short-circuit protection, as well as ±1.75% maximum total output DC error.
3. It is suggested for medical systems, ATCA cards, single-board computers, plus industrial and networking equipment applications.
4. The device operates from 4.5V to 26.5V input supplies and regulates an output voltage from 0.8V to 5V.
