11-bit, 200 MSPS low power ADCs from TI delivers up to 65 MHz of signal bandwidth

Texas Instruments has introduced the 11-bit, 200 MSPS ADC family, with quad (ADS58C48), dual (ADS58C28) and buffered single-input (ADS58B18) options.

The key features of this ADC family are:
1. Consists of a programmable SNRBoost technology and thus can deliver enhanced in-band signal- to-noise ratio (SNR) for multi-carrier and multi-mode communications systems. It can deliver up to 72.3 dB SNR across 60MHz bandwidth or 75.4 db SNR across 30MHz bandwidth.
2. It has a power consumption of 215 mW/channel in ADS58C48, 230 mW/channel in ADS58C28 and 310 mW/channel in ADS58B18 at 200 MSPS.
3. Input options and user-selectable CMOS or DDR LVDS allows for easy connection to TI GCxxxx digital radio products, FPGA and digital ASIC solutions.

Package:
The ADS58C48 (quad) comes in an 80-pin TQFP package.
The ADS58C28 (dual) comes in a 64-pin QFN package.
The ADS58B18 (buffered input) comes in a 48-pin QFN package.

Price:
The ADS58C48 (quad) is priced at US$111.95 for 1,000 unit quantities.
The ADS58C28 (dual) is priced at US$63.95.
The ADS58B18 (buffered input) is priced at US$39.95.
