Low-power tiny comparator from ST for portable devices

ST has unveiled the TS331, a ultra-low-power comparator in a choice of tiny packages. These devices are suggested for portable products that use power-saving design techniques to maximize battery life. It is suitable for cellphones, Mobile Internet Devices, MP3 players, digital cameras and portable test equipment applications.

The key features of the TS331 are:
1. It offers typical current consumption of 20 microamps.
2. Operates from a supply voltage of 1.6V.
3. The device's rail-to-rail input makes the chip capable of accepting voltages up to the supply voltage.
4. It has a propagation delay of 200ns typical and ESD tolerance of 2kV HBM / 200V MM

Package:
Surface-mount SC70-5 (2.1x2.0x1.0mm) or SOT23-5 (3.1x3.2x3.45mm) package.

Operating temperature range: -40°C to +125°C
