New field-installable industrial Ethernet push-pull connector from Tyco

Tyco Electronics has made available the IP65/67, a field installable Industrial Ethernet RJ-45 push-pull connector. It utilizes Tyco's common core design and can be applied in the field without the need for any tools thus reducing installation time and cost. It can be used in harsh industrial environments, such as sealed automation units, decentralized applications, cabinet-outlets, manufacturing cells and lines in the automotive industry, as well as solar parks and wind parks. It also features a comfortable push-pull mechanism, which along with the jack-side frame provides a secure, sealed interconnection and can withstand shocks and vibrations.

It is suitable for use in four-wire AWG 22 and eight-wire AWG 26 cables, the Industrial Ethernet RJ-45 push-pull connector comes with protective covers for both the plug and receptacle for extra protection when not mated. It meets the TIA/EIA 568 Category 5e requirements and the RJ-45 push-pull connector also complies with the IEC61076-3-117 -- Variant 14 standard. It also features an UV resistant housings.

Operating temperature range:-40 up to +70 degrees Celsius.
