New series of RF/Microwave signal generator from Anritsu

Anritsu has unveiled the MG3690C series of RF/Microwave signal generators. It provides phase noise and broad frequency generation that enables highly accurate tests on subsystems, especially those in local oscillator substitution and clock generation applications. These signal generators are suitable to test microwave components, subsystems and systems during design and manufacturing. They also are useful for signal simulation to test and verify radar and communications systems.

Some of the key features of the MG3690C series are:

1) It can generate signals from 0.1 Hz to 70 GHz.
2) A single instrument can generate baseband, IF, RF, and microwave signals .
3) It produces a phase noise of -115 dB/Hz at 20 GHz and 10 kHz offset.
4) It is sugested for digital datacom applications.
5) It can generate narrow pulses down to 10 ns.
6) It has a fast switching speed of 5 ms.
7) This series can generate doublet, triplet, and quadruplet pulses with independently set spacing and pulse width.
8) It can also generate amplitude leveled pulses down to 100 ns.
