New Wimax Transceivers from NXP

NXP has released two Wimax transceivers. The UXF23480 is to operate in the frequency range from 2.3-2.4GHZ used in North America, and UXF23460 is to operate in the frequency range of 2.5-2.7GHZ for use in Taiwan, Japan, North America and Europe. Both are compliant with IEEE802.16e. These chips are supposed to deliver high performance with advantages such as, less board components, low power consumption and less than 3dB noise figure.
