Holtek upgrades HT49RU80 with LCD driver for a bigger LCD Display.

To expand the application possibilities, Holtek has released new HT49RU80 with a larger LCD driver. Through RAM mapping user can select matching LCD driver for the LCD panel size of the application.
It’s internal functions include 31 I/O pins, a 188-pixel LCD driver, a 16-level stack, an 8-bit timer, two 16-bit timers. Holtek points out a unique feature of full-duplex asynchronous UART function, complete with a baud rate that can be setup under software control and automatically detectable flag functions

The memories available are 16K of OTP Program Memory and 576 bytes of Data Memory

Suggested applications are weight measurement, water metering, electric metering, gas metering, household appliances and medical appliances such as blood pressure meters, blood sugar measuring devices.
