Maxim's new over voltage protectors with built in MOSFET

Maxim has launched new over voltage protector ICs MAX14529E/MAX14530E with USB charger detection. These devices have internal MOSFET to protect low-voltage systems against voltage faults up to 28 Volts. MAX14529E/MAX14530E provide ESD protection of ±15kV (Human Body Model).
The suggested applications are mobile phones, mp3/media players, PDAs, and such portable devices.

The MAX14529E/MAX14530E can operate in the temperature range of -40°C to +85°C

The MAX14529E/MAX14530E are available in1.5mm x 2mm, 12-bump wafer-level package (WLP) and are priced at $1.40 each for min order of 1K pieces (FOB USA).
