ST brings minimum operating voltage of its operational amplifier down to 1.5 V
The new precision operational amplifiers TSV61x, TSV62x and TSV63x released by ST Microelectronics can work from an operating voltage range of 1.5V to 5.5V.
The other key features of these new op-amps are,
1. Low active current of 11-microamps for the TSV61x, 29-microamps for the TSV62x family and 60microamps for the TSV63x family.
2. TSV62x offers a gain-bandwidth product of 420 kHz and TSV63x offers gain-bandwidth product of 880kHz.
3. Low input offset voltage of 500 micro-volts (maximum) and input bias current of 1pA
4. Available in both shutdown and non-shutdown versions
5. Offer rail-to-rail inputs and outputs.
The suggested applications are, portable medical equipment, instrumentation, signal-conditioning systems, sensor interfaces, and active filtering.
Package: SC70-5 and SOT23-8 with no shutdown pin, SC70-6, SOT23-6, MSO10 for the shutdown versions
Availability: TSV62x and TSV63x are in full production, TSV61x will be released in Q3 2009
Price: TSV62x and TSV63x: Each $0.22 (single), $0.30 (dual) and $0.47 (quad) for orders of 1000 units.
