SPST/SPDT audio switch ICs with on-resistance of 0.5 ohms

Intersil has launched switch ICs with on-resistance of 0.5 ohms operating in Single Pole/Single Throw (SPST) and Single Pole/Double Throw (SPDT) configurations. These are made for audio applications with built-in feature of click and pop noise elimination circuit.

Features and specifications:
1. Operates from a supply voltage of 1.8V to 6.5V
2. ISL54062 and ISL54063 and ISL54064 have built-in click-and-pop circuitry whereas ISL54065 has the option to digitally select click-and-pop elimination and also to open-circuit all switches based on the requirement.
3. Offer switching speeds of tON = 55ns, tOFF = 18ns
4. Power consumption: 20 nano Amps
5. Bandwidth: 35 MHz
6. Crosstalk: -95dB at 100 kHz
7. ESD protection of >6kV
8. Protection against any external source accidentally turning on the switch
