FCRAM ICs withstanding 125 Deg C temperature with DDR SDRAM interface

Fujitsu Microelectronics is sampling two FCRAM (Fast cycle RAM) memory ICs 512 Mbit MB81EDS516545 and 256Mbit MB81EDS256545 withstanding an operating temperature of 125ºC with DDR SDRAM interfaces. These memory chips are optimized for use in System-in-Packages (SiP) in consumer products such as digital TVs and digital video cameras.

Normally memory chips inside SiP heat-up due to it's power consumption prompting designers to use high temperature withstanding memory ICs without using Heatsinks.

FCRAM is Fujitsu's DRAM memory architecture with double data-transfer rates compared to DDR SDRAM memory.
