RF quadrature/low IF transceiver IC for a frequency ranges of 100MHz to 1GHz

CML Microcircuits has released integrated RF quadrature/low IF transceiver IC with advanced image-reject up-conversion modulation system and flexible superheterodyne receiver.

The new CMX991 is a low cost integrated transceiver device offering precise RF signal processing for the wider frequency range from 100MHz to 1GHz..

This RF transceiver IC is suitable for both narrowband and wideband wireless products, which include multi-mode analogue/digital terminals, digital software defined radio (SDR) for portable, mobile and base station designs.
Targeted applications include APCO Project 25 (Phase 1 and 2), ETSI DMR (TS 102 361), general-purpose wireless data applications and satellite communication systems.

The CMX991 operating at 3.3V (1.8V I/O) integrates the core functions to implement a high performance RF transceiver subsystem, with I/Q architecture supporting multiple modulation types and bandwidth.
The other features include better intermodulation performance, on-chip 1st mixer, direct access to transmit and receive IF sections and a flexible selection of external components for multi-mode operation.
A low IF output mode is supported in the receiver for designers using 'Sample at IF' techniques.

Package: 48-pin VQFN package
Price: Each at $10.00, and comes in a 48-pin VQFN package.
