JTAG debug probe for testing Texas Instrument DSP platforms

Embedded systems development tool vendor, Ashling Microsystems has made available a new high performance JTAG debug probe named Opella-XDS560 targeting Texas Instrument's DSP Platforms. Opella-XDS560 is designed to work with TI's Code Composer Studio (CCS) IDE to debug the application code running on the target system. Debugging support covers all TI platforms including OMAP, DaVinci, TMS320C6000, TMS320C5000, TMS320C2000 and TMS470 families

Hugh O'Keeffe, Engineering Director of Ashling Microsystems, Ltd. said "Opella-XDS560 is the first product in the market of its class at a price point below $US 1500. This allows companies working on TI platforms to economically equip their engineers with powerful XDS560 class tools allowing them to accelerate the debugging phase of their project, thus ensuring they get to market on time"

Ashling, which belongs SFO Technologies of Nest Group has development centres in Limerick, Ireland and Trivandrum, India and sales and support representatives worldwide. For details visit www.ashling.com
