200V, 10 A SBR rectifiers in small packages

Diodes Incorporated has released a new series high voltage SBR rectifiers available in a package called PowerDI5, which the Diodes claims to deliver twice the power density from a PCB footprint that is 40 percent smaller.

The SBR10U200P5 is 10A and 200V rated and delivers a forward voltage drop(VF) of 0.7V at 10A rated current and a junction temperature of 125 Degree C.

The applications suitable for these diodes include notebook power adapters, universal chargers and telecom power supplies.

The SBR10U200P5 is suggested to use as an output diode in power supply output stages, as a catch diode in Buck regulator circuits, as a freewheeling diode in motor drive circuits and also as a boost diode.
