MOSFET and IGBT gate drivers for automotive engine control applications
Fairchild Semiconductor has released new gate drivers FAN708x series to drive the MOSFET and IGBTs to accurately and precisely control the fuel injection control systems in automotive gas engines. These gate drivers drive MOSFETs and IGBTs in high side and bridge driver applications such as direct fuel injection systems and motor controls. The specialty of these devices are, they consume low quiescent current of 100ľA and offer improved transient voltage performance.
The FAN708x products are qualified according to the AEC-Q100 standard. These gate drivers are designed to handle negative voltage swings.
