Low cost CCFL backlight inverters for dual lamp LCD panels

Microsemi Corporation has released new family of high performance CCFL backlight inverters for dual lamp LCD panels.

The new inverter family is designed to migrate Microsemi's proven, IP-differentiated backlighting technology developed for automotive, LCD TV and notebook applications into a broad range of mid-sized panel designs. The new inverters are for 7- to 19-inch panel applications such as medical, POS, kiosk, ATM, and lottery terminals. Inverters identified by product numbers LXMG1627 offer Microsemi's patented RangeMax digital dimming technology, while those numbered LXMG1628 provide analog dimming.
