FPGA based embedded system development kit with analog function blocks
Actel Corporation unveiled fusion embedded development kit to develop FPGA based system-on-a-chip (SoC) designs with integrated mixed signal capabilities. Actel provides designers with license-free processor IP of ARM Cortex-M1 and Core8051 to use in developing FPGA based embedded systems.
"With Fusion and this new development kit, embedded system designers now can easily integrate custom logic and programmable analog features into their embedded processor designs," said Rich Kapusta, vice president marketing and business development. "There is nothing else like Fusion in the industry and this low-cost, easy-to-use kit puts a tremendous amount of capability right at your fingertips."
This kit is built around Actel's FPGA device M1AFS1500-FGG484 with 1.5M gates.
