MOSFET devices in thin SOT-23 packages for PND and low end PCs
NEC Electronics has launched four new metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect-transistor (MOSFET) families; N0100P, N0301P, N0302P, and N0301N. All of these new MOSFETs are housed in SOT-23 package. The ideal applications are personal navigation device (PND) and low-end PCs.
Package heights of these MOSFETs are reduced by 0.1 mm compared to current generation SOT-23 packages by employing flat lead package. The new MOSFETS can handle currents up to 4.5 A (N0301N only) with mounting area equivalent of SOT-23 package.
This family of MOSFETs includes three P-channels and one N-channel MOSFET.
Availability: Readily available in sample with mass production scheduled for June 09
Price: N0301N MOSFET with 4.5 A of current and 33 mO of on resistance is priced at U.S.$ 0.3 per unit.
