Microsemi's new CCFL IC LX1699 for notebooks

Microsemi has added a new CCFL inverter IC with higher efficiency. The key features of this device are,

1. Ultra low sleep current (typically 1uA at 20V and 5uA at 26.5V) improves inverter efficiency and extends battery life
2. Wide 6.5V to 26.5V input voltage range supports common inverter requirements
3. Programmable digital and analog dimming with DC voltage or PWM
4. Integrated and programmable feed forward line voltage compensation manages fast and accurate responses to changes in input voltage
5. Supports Microsemi's PN full bridge configuration and direct drive configurations
