Germany based Hyperstone launched 32-Bit RISC/DSP microcontroller

Hyperstone has introduced a new E2 - 32-Bit RISC/DSP Microcontroller

Based on the Hyperstone E1-32XSR - RISC/DSP Processor Core Architecture, the E2 Microcontroller offers below features

1. 32-Bit unified RISC and DSP processor architecture
2. Peak performance of 640MOPS and 160MHz
3. Dynamic frequency scaling, power down and sleep mode
4. Typical power consumption of about 200mW
5. Instruction set compatible to all Hyperstone E1 based controllers
6. Parallel execution of ALU, DSP, and load/store instructions
7. High code density using variable length 16, 32, and 48-Bit instructions
8. 32kByte fully static on-chip memory (I-RAM)
9. Programmable 8-channel serial communication engine
10. Implementation of 4 UART ports possible
11. 10-Bit, 8-channel multiplexed A/D-converter with sample rate of 182kHz
12. Versatile 2-channel DMA engine
13. Real Time Clock

E2 is suggested for industrial sensing and control applications but also in cost sensitive applications
including metering and scanning or in consumer applications.
Hyperstone offers necessary tools, kits and embedded software for developers.

The E2 RISC/DSP Microcontroller is currently available in different options:
E2-LBL07 --- 144 pin LQFP, RoHS, 0 to + 70 °C
E2-RBL07 --- 144 pin LQFP, RoHS, - 40 to + 85 °C
