Connector system designed for high-speed system requirements

Tyco Electronics introduced a new STRADA connector product suite specifically designed for future high-speed system requirements. The first connector series offered is the STRADA Mesa mezzanine connector system-a pin & socket signal contact design that can be arranged in high-speed differential, high-density single-ended and/or coax patterns.

Some of the product features are listed below:

1. Pin & socket signal contact design
2. Patterns include high-speed differential, high-density single ended, and/or coax
3. Offers integrated power contacts - each up to 10 amps
4. 8mm to 42mm stack heights
5. Applications include future high speed requirements, high-speed differential architectures, Mexxanine applications utilizing PCBs
