Triple mode single-cell Li-Ion charger with timer and NTC

The new SC824 from Semtech is a single input triple mode (adapter/USB High, USB Low) linear single-cell Li-Ion battery charger in a 10 lead 2x2 (mm) MLPD ultra-thin package.

Other features of this device are,

1. Single input 30V protected charger
2. Triple mode - Adapter, USB High, USB Low modes
3. Charging by current regulation, voltage regulation, and thermal limiting
4. Programmable currents from 70mA to 1A
5. Fast-charge current regulation - 15% at 70mA, 9% at 700mA
7. Constant voltage - 4.2V, 1% regulation
8. Input voltage protection - 30V
9. Current-limited adapter support capability - reduces power dissipation in charger IC
