50 Amps capable step down DC-DC controller

Synchronous step-down DC/DC controller MAX15034 from Maxim Integrated Products can provide dual-output voltage with current rating of 25 Amps each or single o/p voltage of 50 Amps with external MOSFETs.

The technical specs and features of this power IC are,

1. Operates from a wide, 4.5V to 28V input range, allowing it to be used in both 5V- and 12V-bus applications.
2. Output voltage of 0.6V to 5.5V
3. Switching frequency of 100kHz to 1MHz
4. Feature current-limit threshold
5. Can start up monotonically when the output has a prebiased voltage.
6. Two enable inputs with accurate turn-on thresholds to allow output-voltage sequencing.
7. External frequency synchronization
8. Thermal-shutdown and hiccup-mode protections
9. Operating temp range of -40°C to +125°C
10. Applications targeted are computing, telecom, networking, storage, and server equipment.
