Large screen LCDs with up to 50K hours of operation

Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas (SMA) launched two large screen industrial LCD modules. One 10.4-inch (LQ104V1DG62) model and another 15.0-inch (LQ150X1LG82) model. Both displays feature LED backlighting rated up to 50,000 hours of operation in all temperature ranges. The displays are ideal for a number of industrial and vertical applications, with added benefit for the medical industry.

LED backlights deliver approximately two-thirds more LCD operating hours than standard CCFT models when used in cold environments. Longer backlight life translates to increased up time and fewer service calls. LED backlights also require less energy to operate. For medical applications, LEDs reduce radio frequency noise - literally vital when patient monitors require data channels free of RF-interference.
The industrial applications include transportation, factory automation, test and measurement, gaming, and ATMs.

The features of 10.4-inch (LQ104V1DG62) VGA Strong 2 Industrial Module:
