High accuracy DAC featuring 18-bit monotonic performance from TI
Texas Instruments Incorporated introduced new high accuracy digital-to-analog converter, DAC9881, which features 18-bit monotonic performance, +/-2 LSB integral non-linearity (INL) and +/-1 LSB differential non-linearity (DNL).
The DAC9881 finds applications such as automatic test equipment, instrumentation, process control, data acquisition and communications systems.
Some of the other features are,
1. Supports SPI serial interface, capable of operating with input data clock frequencies up to 50 MHz for a fast and flexible interface to the most popular DSPs, MCUs and FPGAs.
2. Low power consumption of 4 mW at 5 V
3. 24 nV/rtHz noise & 5-us settling time
4. Rail-to-rail output swing over the full supply range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V
5. Selectable power-on reset to zero-scale or mid-scale.
Packaging: QFN-24 package (4mm x 4mm).
Pricing: $16.90 each in 1K-piece quantity.
