Pericom's new Display-Port(DP) & PCI Express switch families

Pericom Semiconductor Corporation has released two new switch products, PI7C9X20303UL for PCI express and PI3VDP612 for display port.

Some of the Features of PI7C9X20303UL are,

A 3-port, 3-lane PCIe packet switch with typical power consumption of under 250mW in active mode.
Standby power under 200mA (enables mobile applications)
Designed to reduce power consumption up to 30% (normal operation mode).
Customer programmable EEPROM port

Typical features of PI3VDP612 are

A 3-port DisplayPort switch in a very small package
Low power consumption at full operation of under 200uW
ESD protection diodes provide up to 8kV contact protection
Non-blocking pre-emphasis circuitry
Typical applications include PC, notebook, wireless access points, SOHO printers, video surveillance, DisplayPort routing in PC, digital TV and video display design.
