Toshiba's new single N-channel MOSFETs for DC/DC Converter apps

Toshiba America Electronic Components has expanded its synchronous DC-DC converter lineup with five new power MOSFETs targeted for use in mobile and desktop computers, servers, game consoles and other electronic devices to convert input voltage to the level required for various subsystems, such as the processor, memory and input-output devices.

Some of the features are,

Low on-state resistance of 11 milli ohms
Fast switching for high-side MOSFET applications
Lower gate charge (QSW) and lower gate resistance (Rg).

The devices TPCM8004, TPCA8030-H and TPCA8031-H features drain-source voltage of 30V, drain current of 24A, and low gate resistance of 1 ohm (for TPCM8004 & TPCA8030-H). TPCA8031-H has typical gate resistance rated at 3.4O.

The TPC8037-H and TPC8038-H MOSFETs are high-side MOSFETs with VDSS of 30V, ID of 12A, and RDS (ON) of 11.4mO The TPC8037-H has gate resistance of 1ohm, while the TPC8038-H has gate resistance rated at 3.4O.
