Intersil's ISL59450 multi-format video multiplexer with integrated sync separator

Intersil Corporation announced the ISL59450 a new Multiformat Video Multiplexer with Integrated Sync Separator, a device designed for the variety of video signals and formats & display systems used today. The device contains programmable anti-aliasing filters and two integrated sync separators.

The device is having many features like,

1.Contains six composite, four s-video and four Component video inputs.
2.Two of these component input channels can be configured for RGB signals.
3.Has integrated programmable anti-aliasing filters.
4.Have two universal sync separators to extract the timing signals from input signals.
5.Has functionality such as picture-in-picture (PIP).
6.Has programmable output gain control to independently adjust the gain of each output.
