1Amp LDO from Austria Micro System with very low dropout voltage.

The low dropout voltage regulator AS1364 from Austria Micro Systems operated from 2 to 5.5 Volts and can deliver a current of 1 Amp. Suitable for applications requiring dual or triple standard-cell and single Li-Ion battery. Its specialty is, it's very low drop out voltage of 140 milli watts @ 1 Amp current rating.

AS1364 is available in both in adjustable and fixed models. By adjusting adjustable device, a output voltage can be set in the range of 1.2 to 5.0V at an output voltage accuracy of 0.75%.

A power-ok alert signal is generated whenever the output voltage goes out of regulation.
The protection features include protection against over-current and over-temperature.
