New boost regulator IC for Passive Matrix OLED

Intersil Corp, has released a new boost regulator IC for powering Passive Matrix Organic LED. ISL97701 provides high output current and can deliver 50mA at 18V at an efficiency around 87%. The maximum voltage it can provide is 28V. The device integrates Schottky diode and fault protection circuit to protect against over-current, over-voltage and over temperature.

The ISL97701 is packed in 10-lead DFN package with dimensions of 3mm x 3mm x 0.9mm.
Intersil says, along with ISL97702, the combination provides very needy set of features, which no other competing device can provide.
