ST Microelectronics launches miniature voltage suppression diodes

The new SMM4 family of voltage suppression diodes from ST Microelectronics provides high quality protection and devices are available in small footprint of 3.8 x 1.9 mm. The leakage current of these devices is at 0.2 micro amps.

The family includes 14 types of devices with stand-off voltages between 5V and 33V. The popular application areas for these devices are, SMPS consumer electronics, computing devices and telecom equipment. These devices meet IEC61000-4-5 standard.
ST also says, it provides very detailed specs of variation of dynamic resistance, break down voltage, and leakage current with temperature.
