ST Micro release MCUs for secure transaction applications

ST Microelectronics Inc is sampling a new secure microcontroller for banking, loyalty card and other financial applications.
The ST23YS02 and ST23YS08 made using 0.13 micron technology has 2 and 8 Kbytes of EEPROM.
The specialty of these devices are, both embed enhanced DES accelerator and support Advanced Encryption Services (AES) cryptography and offer ISO and IART interfaces.
