Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and RF front-end in a single chip

One more space saving and complexity less solution for your next mobile phone's RF front needs. Here comes a single chip GaAs IC from Anadigics Inc. The AWL9230,AWL9231 and AWL9232 are called FEICs (Front End ICs). In today's smartphones these space saving chips are very essential without any let down in power abilities and efficiencies. The package size of the device is 3 mm x 3 mm x 0.55 mm.
They pack in power amplifier (PA), a low-noise amplifier (LNA), a Bluetooth path, and an RF antenna switch. The only additional components required are an inductor and a capacitor.

Some of the key specifications are,
compatible with 802.11 b/g and 802.11n MIMO WiFi standards
AWL9231 achieves 3.5% EVM and draws 140 mA of current at an output power of +19 dBm
AWL9232 achieves 3.5% EVM and draws 175 mA of current at an output power of +21 dBm
