Catalyst's buck regulator can drive 7 single-watt White LEDs

Catalyst Semiconductor's new LED driver CAT4201 is capable of working from a DC Voltage source of 24 volts. It is a switching regulator with an efficiency of 94%. No heat sink required. Either it can be used to drive single 1-Watt LED from 6 V source or to drive seven 1-watt LED drivers from 24V DC power.
