Free RF design software from Analog Devices

Analog Devices has released an new RF design software to design short range wireless systems. This tool will help you to evaluate, design and troubleshoot short-range radio communications. It supports Analog's ADF70xx family of short range transmitters and transceivers. Highly suggested for remote measurements and control systems.
The features available in this tool are,
Simultaneous view of multiple parameters
Has FCC, ETSI and ARIB compliant design templates.
The three simulation types offered are, frequency domain, transient analysis, and spectrum analyzer.
Provides set of worksheets in troubleshooting all key factors affect the short range RF link. The worksheets are,
Design Wizard: Includes default settings for the various regional regulations
Link Budget: Allows range estimation
Frequencies Worksheet: Aids in choice of crystal and phase-frequency detector
Transmitter Spectrum: Extremely flexible virtual spectrum analyzer
Antenna/Filter: Help in optimizing antenna and matching circuits
Packet Formatting: Enter the packet structure to see effect on battery life and packet error rate
Sync Detection: Helps choose sync byte with optimal autocorrelation properties
